Iter, meaning a journey or a path in Latin, is a not-for-profit research project with partners in Toronto (the headquarters), New York City, and Tempe. Iter was created for the advancement of learning in the study and teaching of the Middle Ages and Renaissance (400-1700) through the development of online resources.
Iter is a not-for-profit partnership of the Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies (ACMRS) at Arizona State University, the Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies (CRRS) at Victoria University in the University of Toronto, the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto, the Renaissance Society of America, the Sixteenth Century Society and Conference, and the University of Toronto Library. MOISA: the International Society for the Study of Greek and Roman Music and its Cultural Heritage, the International Society of Anglo-Saxonists and the Medieval Academy of America are associate societies.
